Ed Childress, President

Ed Childress has served as President and CEO of Syncro Corporation since 1995. He joined the Company in 1994 as Executive Vice President and General Manager. He earlier spent 21 years with PPG Industries in the Automotive and Aircraft Products Division in both Huntsville, AL and Los Angeles.  His career with PPG included positions in manufacturing, design engineering and finally sales and marketing. 

Mr. Childress holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and earned his MBA from Pepperdine University in Los Angeles. He is active with United Way, the North Alabama International Trade Association, the Business Council of Alabama, the Alabama Technology Network, Rotary Club International and the Boys and Girls Club.
